CORPORATE WORKER VISA

This visa is valid for a maximum of three (3) years, non-extendible. 

Issued to foreign employees of South African Corporations.   

Visas are processed and adjudicated within 5-10 working days, during which the original passport will remain at the Embassy.

Your appointment will be set up approximately three-four weeks prior to your departure date.

Application Form: Do not download. It will be provided by the Embassy.  Pre-completed applications will not be accepted.

Passport: Must be valid 30 days after the expiry of the visa

Photos: Two(2) passport photos (Swiss standard)

Itinerary: A flight reservation is required.  Please do not make final arrangements

Financial means: Three (3)-month detailed bank statement

Proof of Employment: Original and certified copy of the Corporate worker’s certificate issued by the company in South Africa – please make sure the original certificate is returned to you after the interview

Undertakings: Company in South Africa must undertake responsibility for the following

Inform DHA when you are no longer employed by the company

Repatriation of the whole family to your country of origin

Criminal Record:             “Strafregisterauszug” on www.criminal-records.admin.ch (no apostille) from each country where applicant resided for a year or longer, after the age of 18

Insurance: Swiss Health Insurance contract copy

Medical Report: To be signed by your GP (Hausarzt).

Radiological Report: To be signed by your GP (Hausarzt) confirming that you never/are not suffering of TB. Pregnant women and children under the age of 12 are exempt.

Swiss Residence: Applicable to any foreign national residing in Switzerland (C, B, L)

Visa fee: Corporate worker’s visa is free of charge

Envelope: Self-addressed-stamped envelope for the return of the passport

The supporting documents should be in English language or officially translated (except bank statements) 

Please print documents before attending your appointment.  The Consular staff will no longer make any copies or print documents on your behalf.
