SECURITY REGULATIONS

WHILE AT THE EMBASSY

For your own security, the use of the following items is not permitted within the Embassy.

  • Mobile phones
  • Any battery operated or electronic devices such as cameras, laptops, portable music players, etc.
  • Any inflammable item such as matchboxes, lighters, fuels, etc.
  • Any sharp objects such as scissors, penknives, nail files, etc.
  • Weapons or weapon-like objects, including toy-weapons
  • Alcohol/liquor containers or flasks
  • You will attend your appointment at the Consulate for the purpose it was set up
  • You will attend your appointment not too early and not too late – a 10 minute gap will be accepted
  • If you cannot attend your appointment for any reason, a minimum of 24-hour notice is requested

Our staff has the right to work without fear or intimidation, as per the Vienna Convention. 

Threatening or abusive language/behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The supporting documents should be in English language or officially translated (except bank statements) 

Please print documents before attending your appointment.  The Consular staff will no longer make any copies or print documents on your behalf.
